Integrated farming
Welcome to Farmporde.com. We do integrated farming on a small land area, 11 Rai. It is consisted of 4 parts : Woody plants, Fruit trees, Vegetables and Animal raising. We relocated to Suanphueng, Ratchaburi, THAILAND and worked on argiculture since March 2022. We adhere to two simple principles
1. We never use insecticide, weed killer and any chemical things include urea and chemical fertilizer to our farming plants and vegetables.
2. Wherever we face any insects and plant diseases, look at the first principle.
It is 4 years in 2026. Our land area is still full of weed but we have fruits and vegetables for delivery. If interested our products, please feel free to contact us.
Woody plants
The first thing that we do at the beginning was planting trees. We grew more than 15 woody trees. Now we have about 70 trees such as Burmese ebony, Black rosewood, Teak, Monkey flower tree, Siamese neem tree, Cork tree. Some woody trees are slow growing such as Butter fruit, White meranti, Ironwood. We grew all woody plants mixed together as a forest. One thing we get after the plants is growing, There are serveral kinds of birds on the trees and they also make bird nest for their babies.
Fruit trees
Mainly we grew Pitaya or Dragon fruit. It produces fruits from May to October in every year. We also have a few kinds of Mangoes. Coconut trees are growing and it takes a few years for producing a fruit.
Vegetables
We grew them near a house. It is easy to get them for cooking. We have Thai basil, hot chili and some herb vegetable for making Tom Yam Kung.
Animal raising
At the beginning we plan to raise Hens for getting eggs everyday. But we found there were a few rabbits living in our land area. We can see its poo look like cat food. We got an idea to raise animals without feeding foods. And we do not need to raise them and kill them for making foods. Apiary is our solution. Now it is almost 2 years we tried to keep bee but it is not success yet. We often see bees around us but it is hard to let them to make a nest in a wooden box.
